The Future of Chaparral is a growing group of Ojai Valley residents that value community input in the process to determine the future of the Chaparral campus in downtown Ojai. We will provide as much support as possible for all efforts to help our students, the public school district and our community. Members of the group include in alphabetical order:

Kendra Butters, Designer, Sustainable Building, Member of Central Coast Green Building Council, mentee of Marc Whitman
Gail Hercher, printmaker, bookbinder and papermaker in Ojai (OSA). Taught at museums, schools and art centers throughout New England and Hawaii.
Vera Long, Outreach and Education Committee, Ojai Studio Artists (OSA). Taught art in many Ojai schools.
